Benjamin Huser

Ben is a Senior in Aerospace Engineering at Iowa State University. He is originally from St. Michael, Minnesota and came to ISU for the curriculum and the charm of Ames and ISU’s campus. He enjoys being outdoors going on hikes, playing disc golf, fishing, skiing, and being with friends. Ben is currently an undergraduate research assistant at the Center for Non-Destructive Evaluation under Thomas Chiou working on Terahertz imaging of high-density polyethylene pipe and Dan Barnard working on Ultrasonic NDE to identify grain flaws in titanium. His interests include Terahertz, Ultrasonic, and Thermography NDE methods as well as data and signal processing.
